Christensen was born on August 19, 1982 was an American actress. Her
filmography includes appearances on Traffic (2000), Swimfan (2002) and The
Banger Sisters (2002). Flightplan (2005), Flightplan (2005) and How to Rob a
Bank (2007). The Tortured (2010). For her performance on Traffic she was
awarded the MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Female Performance and the Screen
Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in the Motion Picture
along with her co-stars.In 2006, she was a star in the drama short-lived series
Six Degrees on ABC. Christensen played from 2010 until the show's conclusion in
2015 Julia Braverman–Graham on the NBC family drama Parenthood. In 2014, she
received the Gracie Award for her performance in the role. Christensen
portrayed Betty Beaumontaine on ABC's short-lived crime drama series Wicked
City. Christensen was the daughter of Kathy Christensen (a construction
manager) and Steven Christensen (an insurance worker and human resource manager).
She has an older half-brothernamed Nick and two twin brothers younger than her,
Dane (who appeared in the 2005 film The Upside of Anger) and Brando. She has
Danish, Icelandic, Swedish, Norwegian, Welsh, and Irish heritage. Christensen
was raised in Seattle she moved with her family to Los Angeles at the age of
four. She started acting in commercials for television, including McDonald's,
Volvo, and Volvo. Christensen is a member of the Church of Scientology. In her
20s, her parents were Scientologists, and brought her up as one.
